I really liked this book. My daughter convinced me to read it and I'm so glad I did. I went into this book not knowing much about it. I didn't read the synopsis before I read the book. This book had me very suspicious of all the characters. So many twists and turns. I thought Theo Faber would help Alicia remember what happened that night to prove her innocence and then they would fall in love and be together. But, that is not exactly the way it turned out. I didn't realize this was this author's first novel. In my opinion, I think he did a wonderful job. I will surely be watching for more of his stories to read. I think the cover of the book goes very well with the theme of the story.
