In the end, I was able to guess what happened and that tends to take away from the book for myself personally. The writing style felt immature for my taste, and I just found the book unbelievable.
The plot twist specifically was insane, and could have been fabulous but it felt like the other was too concerned with minor details that did little to contribute to the story, such as Theo being searched for a lighter to get entrance into the hospital, yet people are smoking cigarettes in the same hospital?? Nit picky but these little things added up to me. I also found the reason for the "silence" to not be a strong enough reason, without giving it away I thought it made the main character look extremely weak and not relatable. There were on top of this plot holes galore and I wanted to like it as much as everyone else, but as a thriller reader this one just did not do it for me.
