I would like to start off by saying that this book lived up to the hype. I am a huge fan of psychological thrillers and this book served. After I had finished the book my mouth was literally hanging open. The author wrote the book so beautifully, we had full trust in the main character, because when you read thrillers and mysteries regularly you always see the twist coming but I DID NOT. When the twist did come and I had realized what happened, I was like “ wait, how did I not question any of this”. That’s how amazingly Alex wrote this book. It was so blatantly obvious after reading the twist yet I didn’t think about it once.
I was so pleased with the book, i wanted to read it again immediately so I could have that feeling again. If you are looking to start reading thrillers or you just want to come back to your comfort genre, this is the perfect book.
