I feel like this book got a lot of not so positive reviews shortly after it was released, but I absolutely loved it! I was hooked from the first page. I was supposed to be buddy reading this with a friend and we broke the book down by parts to read each day...except I finished the book the first day because I could not stop reading!!!
The Silent Patient was a captivating look into the human psyche and the question of why people do the things they do. Alicia and Theo's stories were so interesting to me that I just had to know how the book would end. I completely did not see the ending coming and was shocked....in a good way! I definitely look forward to reading more by author Alex Michaelides and cannot wait to see what he comes up with next!
