I was curious to read this based on why Alicia refuses to talk. She's already been proven guilty, so what is there to hide? And if she's actually innocent, what is there to hide? Considering the time frame of how long she has stayed silent...six years? Whether mentally that worked for her or not it was an interesting angle for the book. Adding psychology and Greek mythology in crime makes it a
treat for mystery lovers.

I felt Theo's determination to make Alicia speak was more of hidden motive vibes. Why was he persisting so much with it? Is it to get a one up 'yes, I made her talk whilst all of you here didn't etc?. He is our point of view character and his chapters are the only version of events we get to know from. I didn't particularly like him, in contrast to Alicia's character we only see her through diary entries. Even with that, we still don't know her fully. Everything goes from zero to a hundred real quick once the twist comes. I didn't see it coming! I wanted more pages after that and felt the ending wasn't enough. Despite saying all of this, I enjoyed the book and the author has done a good job in overall bringing a book to readers with a
different plot and written style.
