As my title mentioned, this has to be hands down one of my all-time favorite books that I have ever read. I continue to recommend it to others even years after reading it. It had me completely hooked until the very end and even when I finished it, I considered myself to have a “book hangover” the next morning.
It is indeed a true psychological thriller. It follows the story of Theo, a therapist, who receives an opportunity to work with his patient, Alicia, who has become silent after shooting her husband. Their interactions will take you down a twisted path and you will certainly not predict the ending. I enjoyed every page of this book and it would be one that I would consider reading again at some point. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this book as you certainly will not be disappointed. I am hoping this author writes another novel similar to this one.
