I was pretty enthralled with this book from the very first chapter. The book is about a therapist who is desperate to treat an infamous female murderer in a psych ward that hasn't spoken since she murdered her husband years ago. While the therapist narrates the story, the book alternates the present and from the female's previous diary entries.

As the psychotherapy between the main character and the "silent patient" continues, more and more clues come through as to who may have more information about this strange crime and whether or not the killer is innocent.

There is a big twist at some point. Without giving spoilers, I will say it was good! I liked the book overall and would recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers or suspense.
