So.... this book has been getting a lot of hype and I finally got around to reading it! It was good but not great. The writing was decent but nothing to rave about, the plot was intriguing but I could stand to put the book down, and the plot “twist” was so predictable - I saw it coming from less than halfway through and was not at all surprised when it was revealed. Additionally, the ending was so anti climatic - there were so many better ways to end it and bring that to an end. That being said, I was intrigued and this was a good book. I would probably recommend it to other readers who like thrillers, but for me, it just didn’t live up the the hype I’d been seeing all over goodreads and BOTM, etc.
