The Silent Patient was WITHOUT A DOUBT my favorite thriller of the year! I avoided it for so long because the cover art was so creepy in my opinion, and man, this is one book I SHOULDN'T have judged by it's cover. It was amazing and I have no problem giving it 5 starts. It starts off kind of slow but then slowly builds as you're sucked in to the mystery...what happened to her husband? Who did it? Was it her? Why is she silent? How are her friends and neighbors involved? And the ending literally left me with my jaw dropped open. I never saw it coming. To me, that's the sign of a good thriller. No one likes a predictable plot, and this book had anything BUT a predictable ending. I would recommend this to any thriller lovers out there!
