I give this one 4.5 stars.

This was an excellent page turner of a book. I loved that it was a different type of psychological thriller where we have the viewpoint of the Doctor treating the patient after the major story events have happened and we, the reader, are trying to puzzle out exactly what happened and why. Did Alicia really do it? If so why? If not, then who did? All of these questions are answered by the end.

The plot twist was pretty huge and I absolutely did not see it coming. I read a lot of mysteries and thrillers and can usually make an attempt at guessing the killer correctly but not this time. For me, that is pretty high praise. At the very end of the book I felt just awful for Alicia, if/when you read it fir yourself I think you will see why and will agree with me.

The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because in just a couple of parts I did find the narrator to grate on my nerves, but thankfully that did not happen constantly.

Overall if you love psychological thrillers then I highly recommend this one.
