I couldn't stop listening - excellent book - the author doesn't think of it as psychological thriller - he says he thinks of it a suspense novel. I say it is both... it will keep you on your toes.

I was engaged right away as the narrator does an excellent job. The story is told from the point of view of the psychotherapist, Theo Faber. It was 6 years after the murder of Alicia's husband, Theo had been intrigued with her case from the beginning and finally got a job at the institution where she was. The ending is surprising, even if you guess the twist, and the way that important scene plays out is well done.

Overall, the story kept my interest and is well-paced in my opinion. It has plenty of twists and intriguing bits of information doled out at a steady clip. There are some funny/weird things that happen in the book as well as some funny/weird characters.
