What an awesome book. It's a slow building thriller, but kept my heart pounding just like any fast paced thriller would. Alicia Berenson is a famous painter whose photographer husband, Gabriel, is murdered. She is considered the main suspect. Alicia either refuses or is unable to speak and is sent to a psychiatric ward. Theo Faber is a therapist whom has chosen to work at Alicia's psychiatric ward. He wants to figure out what happened to Alicia and her husband. Is she guilty? Is there someone else to blame? I thought I had this one figured out for the majority of the book only to be completely blindsided by the truth. I've lent this book out to several people and they all enjoy this one too. Read it!!
