This book wasn't that suspenseful, or thrilling. Just a mystery you wanted to have solved and sooner. But it dragged out with Theo's investigation into protagonist's life. I was saddened by all the controlling and demeaning men in her life. How everyone had some pull on her, and tried to make her seem crazier than she was. I
I did an audio of this book. At first I was immersed in the story, but soon Theo, one of the POVs got a tad repetitive and boring. He was very narcissistic and self absorbed. I was about ready to end my read, but then the twist was there and that was amazing. I did not see it coming from a mile away. Once I realized what was happening it was the end. Definitely surprising.
Would I still recommend? yes! just for the twist alone
