But…this books is creepy but in such a great way!! It’s suspenseful, thrilling and slightly heartbreaking.
Theo is well developed on his own, with his own intricate life that you’re weeding through.
Add in Alice, who is an absolute mystery.
Alice is accused of killing her husband and let’s be honest, the evidence is fairly clear against her. But Theo has other theories. Her silence is a way of communication and it seems that he’s the only one observing that language.
Half way through the book I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster with Alice and then again with Theo..
Highly recommend picking this book up and giving it a read. Especially during the fall as it gives off that creepy vibe just in time for Halloween!!
