This was an absolutely phenomenal read!!! I am officially naming this as my favorite read of 2019. It has everything I love in a good mystery/thriller: an ominous atmosphere, domestic problems, psychoanalysis, questionable narrating, and plenty of secrets, twists, and turns. The writing, pacing, and plot were all incredibly crafted and the ending left me in complete shock. It really messed with my head and has stuck with me for many months after finishing it. It is one of those books that you immediately want to reread to pick up on all the hidden clues you overlooked. I have been recommending this book to all of my family and friends. I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next!
