Nothing is what it seems in this story and there's little wonder that it was already picked up for movie rights. This is an amazing novel. The characters are well developed, the settings feel real. The suspense is palpable. Unexpected twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end. Mr. Michaelides background in mental health is clearly at work in his development of the story's tension and emotional cadence. An excellent debut from a writer I hope to read more from in the future.
