The Silent Patient was one of those thriller novels that engrossed me from Chapter 1, and I truly could not put down until I was done. This book was a wild ride from start to finish, especially when the book approached the ending. This is the story of Alicia Berenson, a famous painter who is married to a famous fashion photographer. She seemingly goes crazy, and shoots Gabriel in the face one night, and then never speaks another word. Alicia ends up in a mental hospital, where she encounters Theo who is a psychotherapist that is fascinated in Alicia's case. There is much mystery and suspense surrounding the murder, made worse by the fact Alicia has never talked again. Theo is determined to get to the bottom of her case, and what ensues is truly wild.
