I'm still confused about the ending, what happened? This book is absolutely genius though, told through the lens of Theo Faber, a psychotherapist. Since all we see is his perspective as well as Alicia's diary, it's hard to know what the truth is – and that is exactly what the author wants, and is hoping for as is revealed by the final twist! I really liked the flow of this book, but there were a few things I didn't really understand. The story of Alcestis is haunting and beautiful, I love Alex Michaelides's interpretation of it through this book! There is deep analysis of the effect of one's upbringing, shown through Theo reflecting on his past, the rare excerpts from Alicia's diary, and the final reveal.
