I am only about 20 pages in but this book has already gotten my attention. From the start, this book makes the reader curious about why the beginning events take place while maintaining the simplicity of what we all love about true crime-- juicy details. Personally, when listening to crime podcasts or reading crime-centered books, I prefer writing that cuts quickly to the details of the crime that humans are often drawn to because of how horrific, yet interesting the details are. This book does just that, while still giving space for the reader to have unanswered questions and answers to look forward to -- not all the answers are obvious and given away quickly. I cannot wait to sit down with this book and read more!
