Wow, reading this novel is like riding a cart that’s about to go down a hill. It starts out a little slowly but starts to pick up pace and by the end is just zooming. The first chapters I wasn’t sure about it, but given all the positive reviews I gave it a few more chapters (they aren’t very long) and man am I glad I did.

AJ Finn calls it a perfect thriller, and I think that is a very apt description. Having read a few non spoiler reviews, and as with most thrillers, I went in knowing there’d be a “twist” but I am happy to report that I didn’t guess the twist until right before it’s reveal. I had several theories throughout.

I don’t think I’ll say much more about this other than definitely read it! It was a solid 4 star read for me for most of it, but the last several chapters tipped it to a 5 star.
