I love thrillers, but I can usually see the twist too soon so I lose interest. The twist in this one was a good one. It was an interesting psychological thriller, the keyword being psychological. I kept trying to figure out who the crazy one was. It was an exciting read and I can see why it’s gotten so much hype! The character development was on point in this novel. With it being a psychological thriller, the author, Alex Michaelides, really dives in to the psyche of each character. This makes it so I didn't know which character was really the crazy one. I actually read this book months ago, but I find myself thinking about it every now and then. That’s how you know it’s a good book!! This book was especially incredible for a debut novel. There will be lots of good books from Michaelides in the future and I can’t wait to read them because he is very talented!!
