I've been hearing a lot about this book and seeing it praised as the next great pyschological thriller. However, I feel like that's been said about far too many books since Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl and almost all of those have disappointed me.
So far, The Silent Patient is different because it is coming from a male perspective; and while a therapist obsessed with a killer is a creepy description, there aren't any creepy vibes from this book so far. I think that three chapters wasn't quite enough to form an honest opinion of a book that has been creating so much buzz so far, but I'm looking forward to reading more of it.
