I liked the rip in the books cover. If the author of The Woman in the Window says this is an all nighter read, that is good enough for me, for I liked her book.
Why would the wife shoot her husband? Could be he was unfaithful, he was going to kill her but she beat him, perhaps her art not hers and he was going to expose her, perhaps he abused a child, or maybe, she is just plain crazy. Apparently, she is driving the psychiatrist crazy with her silence.
