The Silent Patient excerpt was very compelling. There is a brutal murder; there are possible mental issues and there is silence. The main character is found guilty of shooting her husband several times in the face, a vicious, violent act, without explanation, because the accused never speaks again. A psychotherapist attempts to unravel the mystery. I am anxious to read more.
