In reading the first couple chapters of The Silent Patient, we are introduced to a murder and a seemingly cut-and-dry case where the wife killed the husband. However, no one knows why and the wife stopped speaking after the murder. The story is told by a third person narrator (who is a psychotherapist). I'm intrigued to find out more about how the narrator connects with the wife and what really was going through her head.
