The writing is very beautiful and made me love the descriptions.

The reason for the 4 stars out of 5 is that I wasn't super in love with the characters. I felt like I wasn't hooked into them as people, but I did enjoy the story itself. The setting is great and really made me want to delve deeper and it's definitely a nice take on mental health, especially on the younger generation. There's pressure of the SATs, friends, financial trouble, pressures that we forget as we grow older and give in to more pressing matters of adulthood.

I feel as if anyone who enjoys literary fiction will definitely enjoy this book. I am unsure how I feel about the ending, but I do not feel that it detracts from the book too much. I am not a fan of too many POV, but I was still able to enjoy it, I just hate when i'm stuck in a POV that I don't like when I want to go back to the other one.
