I like it alot!
I liked this book a lot. I don't read a lot of Young Adult books, but I got this book from a friend and I am really glad I read it!
I thought the characters were really interesting. I felt myself connecting with them, and actually caring what happened, which doesn't hapy for me often with young adult books. I also liked the whole small town feel, but I am also from a small town, so maybe that's why? It helped me get more into the book.
I also liked how different approaches were used when dealing with Tommy's depression. If you know anyone with depression, it felt semi realistic. Or at least appropriately realistic for the audience. I thought the book was really well written, and it makes me want to read more by Cassandra Hartt. I actually read it pretty quickly--it was hard to put down!
Other reviewers said that this book remind them of Turtles All the Way Down, and I agree with that.
