Amazing
I absolutely loved this book. Every character was amazing, but I especially loved Tommy. The way his mental illness was depicted was so raw and realistic. It was so easy to sympathize with him and see where he was coming from with his struggles. I loved how Harlow was impulsive and bold. I loved Ellis and his aspirations and how he never let anything hold him back, even a prosthetic leg while wanting to run track. Every character was flawed in their own ways and had great character development. The plot of the book was great too. It tackled topics like family, twin struggles, depression, suicide, disabilities, and climate change all in one.
I felt the book was more character driven than plot, but both were very good. It started off strong with the suicide attempt and the ocean sweeping away their town. There was never a slow point in the book! Definitely recommend.
