I am always a little extra drawn to stories that take place in or mention Maine (my home state!), so I was excited to get an early look at this. I really appreciated that this one began with a trigger warning about the heavy topics contained in the book -- I think this is much rarer than it should be. The preview passage was really beautifully written, and I think this book is shaping up to be really good.
