Mental illness in YA
I really appreciate the content warning included at the outset of The Sea Is Salt and So Am I.
This YA debut follows three teens: Harlow, Ellis, and his twin Tommy. There's tension between Harlow and Tommy, while Harlow and Ellis are close friends. Tommy is depressed; the reader can't help but feel for him.
The excerpt is well-written and was easy to get into.
The cover looks both pretty and turbulent, which seems appropriate.
