Reading the first bit of this book immediately had me thinking of my hometown in Maine. While we really don't get high water levels where I am, it did happen a couple times and people almost died from it. Due to that, I was immediately hooked. I find the idea about this book intriguing and the writing made it easy to get into the store and wish for more.
