This book had me hooked just by the cover. As a beach and ocean-loving person, this book seemed to be right up my alley. I am always drawn to stories that take place on the coast. The writing and character depictions are very strong in this book. I like the idea that mental health issues are being discussed. However, as a middle school teacher, I think this book would be most appropriate for higher level readers at that age. All in all, looking forward to reading more.
