I am most drawn to the way the author describes the setting and atmosphere of the town featured in The Sea is Salt and So Am I. I hope as it continues on I will be just as interested in the characters, but my first impression is focusing on the setting, which seems like a character in and of itself. The cover is quite unique, and I am invested in finding out where this story goes!
