Harlow and Ellis are best friends who plan their lives around each other. There are some basics of a boy/girl young adult friendship story - girl might have more than friend feelings for boy, boy wants to do his own thing for the first time, etc. On top of that, Harlow wants to save their hometown and Ellis’ brother is suffering from major depression. And there’s a great ugly dog companion as well. I’m looking forward to seeing where this multi POV story goes.
