A little convoluted
The Sea is Salt and So am I has an interesting premise - teenagers in a coastal Maine town learning to navigate after a suicide attempt. Unfortunately with the multiple POV-style writing, it's difficult to become attached to any of the characters. The emphasis on environmentalism also seems like an after-thought, given the severity of the issue for many on the coast.
The jacket cover is alluring and gives the impression that the story will have more depth than it does. Overall, not my favorite but will be interesting for the right person.
