A new world of wry humor and dangerous magic!
This preview ended WAY too quickly! I already love the three siblings (love that they consider their cousin a sister) and this new magic system is utterly enthralling.
I have so many questions that I NEED the answer to: What makes the FMC able to use alchemy? Where is her father? Will she and her cousins pass the exams? What else is she capable of?
This book has definitely ensnared my interest and I am so incredibly eager to continue reading about this characters and her family. Also this feels like the tip of the iceberg. We learn so much in this prologue and first two chapters. Her very existence is a mystery and I really hope we get to meet more alchemists and see the extent of their powers. But also: she mentions there is a price for every use of the magic. What will be her price?
In summary: I am eager to continue to read this book and spend more time with these utterly fascinating characters and their dry sense of humor.
