The first look reminded me of 'Pet Seminary', by Stephen King. I really needed a little more of the first look to make a better first impression. I had to sleep on it, digest it, ponder over night. I do like the character, Zilan's personality-feisty. The 'Content Note' was very interesting. The 'Prologue' was confusing. Love the cover. Descriptions are graphic, be aware of that.
