I had some serious issues with Kylie Lee Bakers debut—namely the blatant use of ableist tropes—that make me nervous to get into anything else from her, but she does have a knack for writing an interesting hook. Her premises always intrigue me, I enjoy her voice. I think this has potential. I hope she has taken more care with her representation of ALL marginalized communities this time.
