When I first read the synopsis (Dark YA Duology) I wasn't sure this would be for me, but from the first few pages I'm hooked! I was surprised this was considered YA. It seems like a historical fiction novel with fantastical elements. The writing really pulled me in and I can't wait to see where this goes.
