I don't love the writing style, but I am intrigued!

So far, I am not blown away by the writing style and its format isn't necessarily my cup of tea, so to speak. Having said that, I think the book has definite promise because I am intrigued by the plot summary, title, and cover. Despite not loving the initial pages, I think I am going to give it a try and hope to continue the story!
