Chinese Fantasy - The Scarlet Alchemist

I love the cover art for this book! Asian fantasy is a genre I read often and enjoy, and the cover and blurb for this one both captivated my interest. However, the prologue was confusing and ambiguous. It left me more confused than intrigued. As I continued reading into the first chapter I found myself rereading lines and having a hard time connecting with the writing style of this author. I may try this book again when it releases and see reviews from my fellow readers, but for now I'm going to pass on it.
