Dealing with bodies is a lot more than just a Chinese funeral home in this tale. When people hand over gold coins for the appraisal of a family member's body, it is with the hope that the alchemist can breathe life back into the corpse. What if the body is in such bad condition that the revived soul must stay in hiding? Would life still be worth it? And when everyone can be immortal, what happens as business wanes?
