I really enjoyed this book. It was exactly what I want from a summer thriller. It kept me on the edge of my seat, with a good solid story, and still provoked a range of emotions. It was well executed, and filled with characters you just want to love. I knew it was a thriller going in, but I didn’t realize how dark it would turn out to be and I absolutely appreciated that, because in the beautiful setting of this book and all the niceties and pleasantries there is that underlying current that the author smoothly places in there that you don’t realize until the little things start going wrong. I think it’s a very smoothly written story and because it’s been so well thought out you really are just waiting for that catalyst to happen. And it’s so messed up when it finally does.
