I am a huge suspense junky and this one did not disappoint. Although so readers may have thought this was a predictable ending, I thought it was the complete opposite. Emily is a relatable character, just trying to make it as being an actress and in the mean time working odd jobs to put some money in her pocket. When she is presented with an opportunity of a lifetime by her attractive “ex” boss, she couldn’t turn down the offer.
The writing style was very easy and made it a book I couldn’t put down. Always wanting to know what happens next. Hearing the story through three different characters also gave different perspectives which I usually enjoy. I am looking forward to what Anna Downed has in store for her next novel!
