I was intrigued by the description and reviews for The Safe Place. The cover is beautiful! This is a suspenseful story that had me guessing what the in the world was going on?! This is a story where right or wrong it seems like everyone has their reasons. You can even identify with their reasoning! The pacing of the story was great! I didn’t feel as if the story was dragging and was never bored. Tension, twists and turns throughout the whole book with a heart-pounding rush to the end. The end did surprise me! I felt there were a couple of questions that were not answered for me though. I felt those could have been answered quite easily, but then again maybe the author just wanted to keep us guessing.
