I loved this book!
First of all, this book had me from the very beginning! Poor Emily Proudman was down on her luck and just looking to catch a break. But what she got was anything but! Scott Denny appeared in her life at just the right time, or so she thought. He seemed nice enough and offered her a job she could not refuse. A summer in France would sound amazing to anyone. Scott's wife Nina seemed a little off but treated her okay as long as she knew her boundaries. Their daughter Aurelia was a little strange and suffered from a medical condition and did not speak. As the summer goes on things appear more and more unusual to Emily. Just when I thought I figured this book out, it still surprised me! I loved this book and recommend reading it to anyone looking for that perfect book that you just can't put down!
