I absolutely adored this thriller!! It kept me on my toes the entire time. This was a fabulous debut novel. It’s been a little while since I’ve read a five star thrillers for I’m so excited to recommend it to everyone. Now it was one of those out of nowhere, crazy twists so don’t expect anything like that but it was still very suspenseful. It was very hard to put the book down. It was very fast paced and the short chapters made you want to keep going. The progression of Emily’s character throughout the story was also very good! She wasn’t stupid and wasn’t oblivious to everything that was happening. It was very refreshing to not be frustrated by a main character in a thriller. I will be taking about this book for a while and I can’t wait to read whatever Anna Downes writes next!!
