I never read this genre, but I found this to be quite enjoyable. I feel for Emily and ughh that moment when she called her adoptive mother on her birthday to ask for more money... OUCH. Yeah, she won't be hearing from them any time soon. I'm super curious as to what Scott's plans for her are. I wish there was more so I could find out! I wasn't expecting two different perspectives, but I do have to say I enjoyed Emily's more. Poor Emily has no idea the meeting with her agent tomorrow is going to be a bad one.
