I gravitated to this because I like the trope of a household that is seemingly perfect on the outside and what really occurs on the inside. I think this premise always works well and is interesting as readers often search for what seems to be a reminder that our lives can be much worse even with things we wish for. After reading the first look, I felt the tension rising and wanted to keep reading more. I feel like thrillers, although sometimes predictable, always give the reader that sense of tension that you can't look away from and I'm sensing that from this!
