I found the First Look engaging, and full of descriptions that made me feel like I was right beside Emily in her activities. I enjoyed the premise and want to read much more of the book when it comes out. Having a son that is an actor, I could commiserate with what she was dealing with at the audition and the job afterwards. It is hard to be an actor and work a normal job. Awesome start! Can't wait to read more!
